Guests are invited to take advantage of the facilities available at Ross House, these include Riding, fishing, boating, tennis and shooting.

The Equestrian Centre at Ross House will meet all your needs. We offer trekking, riding lessons, cross country or showjumping.

From Ross Bay our boats (for hire) take you fishing for Brown Trout, Pike and Perch. You may set out for adventurous trips around the lake, exploring the property owned Church Island or the Golf Course across the Lake.

If walking is one of your hobbies and pastimes this is an ideal spot. There are beautiful wooded areas all around Ross House. There is a path down to the lake and scenic shore line. Walk through the countryside, or take in the most breathtaking views from the top of the hill.

Within 20 minutes driving distance are choices of tourist attractions like the family owned Ross Castle, Fore Abbey or Tullynally Castle and Gardens. Also to be found in the neighbourhood are ancient Megalithic Graves and the magnificent, historic Loughcrew Gardens.
