The equestrian centre hosts a selection of seasoned schoolmasters.

Tuition for all levels ranging from Shetland pony caring for the little ones, adult beginners and children riding lessons, to the experienced rider wishing to perfect their skills. Riders with special needs welcome.

The great advantage at Ross House is that you are given individual attention, as smaller groups are preferred. On arrival at the equestrian centre each rider's ability is assessed and a programme is then tailored to suit individual requirements. Not only do you learn and improve your horse riding skills, it is also a great opportunity to meet other people who share your interest and love of horses. The equestrian centre's ponies are perfect for children whether they are starting out or already experienced riders. Expert tuition is provided to help improve skills and facilities available offer great opportunity to have fun.

For the more ambitious rider our instructors also offer coaching for the show jumping and assist in exploring the scenic 5 km cross country course leading through the versatile terrain of Ross House's spacious fields, woodlands and lakeshore.

Qualification

Our successful team of qualified staff is keen to ensure your equestrian experience is enjoyable and rewarding.

Our instructors have attained their qualifications not only through the internationally recognised British Horse Society (BHS), but also through the innovative coaching system of the Equestrian Federation of Ireland (FEI).
