Ross
House, a 400 - acre farm situated
on the shores of Lough Sheelin has been built
over centuries. Historically, The night before
his final battle at the bridge of Finnea "Miles
The Slasher" was reported to have stayed
at the neighbouring ross Castle. Accordingly,
Ross House may have harboured some of Cromwell's
soldiers.
Today it's homely atmosphere welcomes you with
many attractions. Catering not only for the keen
horseman, we also host a series of leisure activities
such as tennis, hiking through open fields, bog
land and forests, boating and fishing.

across the Lake.
Within 20 minutes driving distance are choices
of tourist attractions like the family owned Ross
Castle, Fore Abbey or Tullynally Castle. Also
to be found in the neighbourhood are ancient Megalithic
Graves and the magnificent, historic Lough Crew
